Let me tell you a little more about myself
I am proud to be able to boast that I bake and sell my award winning Scones and Cinnamon Rolls in my bakery in addition to the other items that you see on my menu. I make the famous All Natural Rocky Mountain Granola and my favored Ginger Snaps which can be shipped anywhere. I also bake custom cakes for any occasion.
In addition, I am a professional caterer and among other things I cater the National Wild Turkey Federation banquet each year.
After many years in various positions of law enforcement and the daily stress of trying to make a better place for all, I decided that there might be a more personal way of reaching others. Because of my love of cooking and baking, I decided to analyze other possibilities that might be available to me. I virtually happened on to this quaint and cozy bakery that was for sale.
It was calling my name. In 2005, I bought it, renamed it Beary Beary Tastee, did some much needed painting and redecorating and made it my own. Every since, I have been devoting my time and energy into becoming an important part of Fairplay. I have made many new friends, both local Fairplay neighbors and one time guests from other parts of the US and beyond. I am constantly creating new recipes and you may never know what I will surprise you with next.
I am married to a wonderful man Rich, who I am very proud to say is a retired Veteran. He has been in the Air Force Reserves for 28 yrs and is now an E8 Officer at Peterson Air Force Base. In our spare time we love to spend time with our 2 kids and 4 grandkids. We love the outdoors and among our many outdoor activities are Hunting, Camping, Fishing and Snowshoeing. I am also the coordinator for Women In The Outdoors.
